Vantre: Reviews & Ratings
Oh wow…. What a heavenly place. Concise but utterly perfect menu (caters for meat eaters, veggies and pescatarians) and a wine list literally sent from heaven. Service is so warm, expert and attentive. And while the standards are incredibly high, the vibe is relaxed. After 40 years of visiting Paris, my search is over: I have found my winner! Thank you, team Vantre, for an absolutely outstanding evening. Can’t wait to return.
Update : I just had to update the review for this little amazing gem in Paris. We came here twice again this year just because the food was just DELICIOUS! The service was way much better than last time. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable about wine as usual. The food was just simply amazing. Must try And highly recommended ! Suggest to call them in advance to reserve the table . Loved the food but the waitress was unbelievably bad as she wasn’t patient or helpful in fact she even hit my friend’s head with the dishes when she came to clean the table accidentally which we understand totally. But there was “NO” sorry or she cared about it. She looked totally tired and sleepy perhaps she wasn’t paying attention to the customers nor she wasn’t attentive at all. And most of the menu on that day were out of stock even though we were there at 12:30 pm. But to be honest, the food was delicious.
Visited for dinner on 10th November 2025. An amazing dining experience at Vantre. Did a walk in as a solo diner, although they were fully booked, was accommodated to dine until 845pm. The pigeon and foie gras tarte was fabulous. Menu is compact but the options should cater for almost anyone. Their wine list is more of a wine book with an extensive collection of great wines at acceptable prices. A place to go if you are an avid wine lover.

Nestled in the vibrant 11th arrondissement of Paris, Vantre offers an exquisite French dining experience that harmonizes tradition with a contemporary touch. Located at 19 Rue de la Fontaine au Roi, this intimate restaurant excels with a carefully crafted, concise menu that caters elegantly to meat lovers, vegetarians, and pescatarians alike. Signature dishes like the Pigeon et Foie Gras en Croute with its rich, savory Salmi sauce showcase the kitchen’s mastery in balancing robust flavors and delicate textures.
The wine list at Vantre deserves special mention, boasting an extensive selection that reads more like a connoisseur’s handbook. From Champagne by the glass to well-curated bottles like Gangloff Viognier, the pairing elevates the dining experience, revealing layers of taste that complement each dish flawlessly.
Among the highlights, the Beef Tartare and Tartare de Veau stand out for their freshness and precise seasoning. The Mackerel offers a refreshing contrast with its subtle, oceanic notes. Desserts such as Paris-Brest and Mousse au Chocolat Glace Verveine punctuate the meal with sweet finesse, rounding out the culinary journey on a sublime note.
What truly sets Vantre apart is its inviting atmosphere paired with attentive, expert service.
